The rubber strap feels softer and more supple than the previous rubber straps Omega has used. There are a lot of third party options for rubber straps if you don’t want to drop money for the OEM rubber strap right away. Same with NATOs. Also, don’t get the rubber strap unless you can get it with the new deployant clasp.
