Managed to secure an OP34 Black Dial for my mother as a walk in yesterday, we will collect at the weekend for fitting etc. I think its a perfect daily wearer for her. Question or comment comes around the 34mm size.
Dial dots don't work on the 2824 unless you eliminate the date wheel. You can use another dial with feet intact and make a backer that will work far better. You would eliminate the dial spacer. A lot of white dial watches use polished silver colored hands which can tend to get lost in the dial. A huge appeal to me on the Polar Explorer is the legibility. The white dial is so clean, and the black hands and markers make this watch easy to read the time in any setting.

It was serviced by an AD (David Gardners) in 6/2022 and also three links were added recently by the same AD.
