Sorry guys, hitting the 10,000 chars limits on the original post, hence this new continuing post. VS3135. VSF dominated the Omega scene and very quickly took over the Rolex side. Their products are very well known and popular among the rep collectors. This is the 3135 movement that they used for their Sub series. So I keep seeing people mention the SH3135 v2. From what I understand the SH3135 is better than the A3135? And I can only assume the SH3135 will be more reliable? Is there any detailed information out there comparing the 3? Here's what I've found so far. This is part of the winding system. This arm pivots back and forth to transfer energy to mainspring barrel when winding by the crown. There is a common problem with these movement whereby this part of the movement gets stuck and the watch won't handwind anymore.
I got my ARF v2 116610LN with SH3135v2 movement. The issue is, that it is having problems with changing the date manually. When I'm in the date-setting on the crown I can change dates 3-4 times and then it "jumps" out of the setting and goes to the wind-setting, but without winding.
Half of what I read about the SH3135 v2 movement in the ARF Sub 116610 says it sucks. The other half says it's an unbelievable rep. Why is this such a polarizing subject. #1.
