But unless you have some special connection to Winn Dixie or Julio Sanchez, I'd find this particular example unappealing.

The 5500 Air-King was the classiest Rolex ever made. I've owned steel/gold OPs, steel/gold GMTs, and Subs galore. All I wear now are my 5500, and an occasional wearing of my 1500. The size, simplicity, classic design, and understated elegance of the 5500 makes it the finest all-around everyday watch available. Omega or Rolex, it’s all still buying vintage and the same axioms apply. Condition first, price second, desirability (X-factor etc) third. Your example is pretty tired, a little over market price and I’m not personally a fan of the dial colour or lume plots but YMMV.The Air King has a good bit of heft and has great wrist presence but some Omega watches are thicker again without a Faraday cage, check the specs.
